I’ve always been drawn to photography, but it wasn’t until I started working in education that I truly found my lens—capturing everything from the wonder of pre-kindergarteners discovering how their bodies move to high schoolers creating core memories at dances. Documenting those moments made me realize how powerful photography can be, not just as a record, but as a celebration.

Since then, I’ve loved expanding my work into maternity, newborns, families, couples, headshots, graduations, and special occasions of all kinds. No matter the moment, my approach is calm, thoughtful, and deeply intentional. I believe in planning well so you can simply show up and feel comfortable—I scout locations in advance, send curated inspiration, and take time to understand your style. My images tend to feel warm, airy, and timeless, with a focus on capturing what’s true to you.

My goal isn’t just to take beautiful photos—it’s to help you feel seen. I want your images to reflect who you are, elevated in a way that still feels natural. I want you to look back on your gallery with joy and maybe even a little awe, and to feel excited for the next time you step in front of the camera. And I believe you don’t need to wait for a milestone. Now is reason enough.

When I’m not photographing, I’m usually with my family and our two dogs, reading a good book under a cozy knit blanket, or sipping matcha while planning my next creative project. I’m based in Sacramento and love working with clients throughout the region to document life’s most meaningful chapters—big or small.
